Lookout Partners with Verizon Business Customers to Deliver SSE
With nearly every organization going through rapid digital transformations, it has become critical that security teams are equipped to provide seamless access for their remote users while keeping sensitive data secure.
This is why I’m thrilled that Verizon has launched the Lookout suite of cloud security solutions to deliver security service edge (SSE) and ensure that customers can seamlessly secure their data and apps in the cloud, on premises and on the internet.
Lookout and Verizon came together in 2017 with a single goal in mind — to empower U.S. businesses with robust mobile security. Since then, we’ve delivered Lookout Mobile Endpoint Security to more than 1.9 million mobile devices. Now, with the inclusion of the Lookout Cloud Security Platform, we are further empowering Verizon customers with the tools they need to secure their work-from-anywhere initiatives that align with zero trust across a unified SSE stack.
Secure users, apps and data with a Unified Cloud Security Platform
Organizations now heavily rely on cloud services and the internet to empower their employees to work from anywhere. The challenge is that traditional security tools don’t have visibility into these activities as they do not occur within corporate perimeters. To play catch up, many businesses opt for point solutions that end up creating more complexity, which balloons operational costs and leaves security gaps.
This is why Verizon and Lookout have come together to offer a unified solution with Lookout Cloud Security Platform to deliver a complete stack of SSE services that includes cloud access security broker (CASB), secure web gateway (SWG) and zero trust network access (ZTNA) with built-in data security capabilities.
By leveraging a comprehensive platform, businesses not only gain visibility and control over their cloud apps, private apps, and internet usage, but they can enforce granular and dynamic policies that protect data while enabling productivity.
The idea of deploying security from a unified platform is more critical than ever as organizations continue to speed through digital transformation and support work from anywhere. Gartner found that by 2025, “80% of organizations seeking to procure SSE-related security services will purchase a consolidated SSE solution, rather than stand-alone cloud access security broker, secure web gateway and ZTNA offerings, up from 15% in 2021.”
Lookout has been recognized as a Visionary in the 2022 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Security Service Edge for its SSE offerings, and it was ranked in the top-three vendors for all four Use Cases in the 2022 Gartner Critical Capabilities for SSE.
